Ola Hudson - Pioneers Who Have Shaped America's Fashion Industry


Ola Hudson was an American costume designer, known for the costumes she made for performers such as David Bowie, the Pointer Sisters, and Diana Ross. Hudson was a talented seamstress, designer, dancer and photographer known within the music and fashion industry. In conjunction with the costume design work she did for notable performing artists, she also designed special collections for brands such as Fred Siegel, Neiman Marcus and Henri Bendel before starting her own brand, Skitzo. Hudson had a proclivity for retro styles, often favouring simplicity and functionality in her design work.
